Silvia Nicté Villatoro Rodríguez

Silvia Nicté Villatoro Rodríguez is a researcher at the Evidence and Deliberation for Decision-Making Unit (UNED) at the University of Antioquia in Colombia. She is a medical doctor with a specialization in Comprehensive General Medicine from the Latin American School of Medicine in Havana and holds a master’s degree in Clinical Epidemiology from the University of Antioquia. She has worked as a Clinical Epidemiology lecturer at the university’s Faculty of Medicine. Her experience at UNED has been primarily focused on developing evidence syntheses to inform public health decision-making.

Jéssica Farias Dantas Medeiros

Brazilian, black and northeastern woman, seeking symmetry between the fields of Evidence-Informed Policy (EIP), art education, communication and popular education, public health, and knowledge translation. Art educator, with a degree in Theater from the Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology of Ceará (IFCE) and a Professional Master’s Degree in Collective Health: Health Policies and Management (FCM/UNICAMP). Her career has been built up in institutional spaces and in social movements for the right to health in Latin America, sharing knowledge and articulating networks, as well as working as a specialist in Collective Health at the São Paulo Health Institute, as part of the team of researchers PIE. She was a substitute teacher for 2 years in the undergraduate medical course and in the orientation of course completion works and facilitation of postgraduate classes in the Multiprofessional Residency program in Primary Care at the Multicampi School of Medical Sciences of the Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte (EMCM/UFRN).
